What to expect at your color appointment

1. A real consultation

We look at your hair's history, condition, and what you want it to look like in three months — not just today.

2. The right formula

Your stylist mixes for your hair and your tone, and tells you honestly how the color will grow out.

3. A maintenance plan

You'll leave knowing when to come back and how to care for your color at home, including whether a glaze keeps it fresh between visits.

Hair color FAQs

How long does an all-over color appointment take?

Most full color or root touch-up appointments take about two hours, including consultation, application, processing, and a blowout finish. Corrective color can take longer — we'll give you a realistic time estimate at your consultation.

How often should I come in for a root touch-up?

Most guests come in every four to six weeks to keep regrowth blended. If you'd rather stretch it out, we can talk about techniques like a glaze or dimensional placement that grow out more softly.

What's the difference between a glaze and a gloss?

The terms overlap a lot. In our chair, a glaze is a gentle, often ammonia-free service that adds shine, refreshes tone, or shifts color slightly — a great low-commitment option between color appointments.

Can you fix hair color that went wrong somewhere else?

We take corrective color case by case. It starts with an in-person consultation so we can assess your hair's condition and map out a realistic plan — sometimes that means the fix happens over more than one visit.

Do you color hair that's already highlighted or blonde?

Yes. If you're thinking about going darker or richer over existing highlights, we'll plan it carefully so the result looks dimensional rather than flat. If you want to stay blonde, see our blonding services.
